  • Oct 20 (Wed), 3-5 pm, "October Hiring Event" at Idaho Dept. of Labor, 600 N. Thornton St., Post Falls. Multiple employers on site. FREE & open to all job seekers for full time, part time, seasonal, entry level, skilled trades & professional positions. Take resume & dress for success.

  • Oct 20 (Wed), 6 pm/8 pm, "CdA Full Moon Bike Ride" is a community bike ride under the full moon. All ages, abilities & styles of riding are welcome. Gather at 6 pm at Cork & Tap, 2034 N. Main St. (Riverstone), CdA, for live music music/beverages. Ride begins at 8 pm for 2-4 miles, ending at Independence Point, downtown CdA. Coming up: Nov 19 & Dec 18.

  • Oct 23 (Sat), 7:30-11 am, "Winter Blitz Veteran Stand Down Day" at VFW Post 1675, 318 E. Mullan Ave., Osburn. Conducted by Kellogg Elks Lodge 1841.

  • Oct 26 (Tues), 4:30-6:30 pm, "Free Community Meal", served by Cup of Grace at Spirit Lake Community/Senior Center, 32564 4th Avenue. All are invited!

  • Oct 30 (Sat), "Post Falls Residential Fall Clean-Up" at city-wide residences. Items must be placed at street by 6 am. Items need to be bagged, bundled or in garbage cart & must not exceed 4' long & 4' wide. Furniture, tires, concrete, brick or hazardous material will NOT be picked up.
