  • Jan 21 (Fri), 7 pm, "Family Game Night" at Mica Flats Grange, 7465 W. Kidd Island Rd., CdA. Play your favorite game or learn a new one with friends/neighbors. All Grange activities are open to the community.

  • Jan 22 (Sat), 10 am-noon, "North Idaho General Preparedness" at Athol American Legion, 5525 E. Hwy 54 (park in back). Sponsored by Ladies Homestead Gathering: North Kootenai Chapter, featured speaker will be Sarah Loffredo of Kootenai Co. Emergency Management. FREE & open to all ladies 16 years of age & older.

  • Jan 26 (Wed), noon-3 pm, "Community Food Boxes" will be distributed to residents of CdA in need at Silver Lake Mall, 200 W. Hanley Ave., CdA. Locally-sourced fresh produce, protein & dairy provided by Four Roots Farm in partnership with City of CdA & HUD. Reserve a box HERE.

  • Jan 27 (Thurs), 11 am-1 pm, "Mobile Market" at Blanchard Community Center, 685 Rusho Lane. Drive-thru distribution by 2nd Harvest of prepacked emergency food boxes w/produce/meats & more for up to 250 families in need. Open to public - no app't or documentation required.

  • Feb 22 (Tues), 11 am-1 pm, "Mobile Market" at Walmart Post Falls, 3050 E. Mullan Avenue. Provided by 2nd Harvest, event is drive-thru for up to 250 families. Open to anyone in need of food assistance. 

  • Feb 24 (Thurs), 11 am-1 pm, "2nd Harvest Food Distribution" at Post Falls LIbrary, 821 N. Spokane St.

  • Jan 29 (Sat), noon-2 pm, "Lego Build Off" at Harrison Library, 111 S. Coeur d'Alene Avenue. Participate in several speed Lego-building contests to win prizes, or take your own Lego creation to display after Jan 22 for Jan 29 judging. Open to all ages.

  • Feb 5, 12, 19, & 26 (Sat), 2-5 pm, "Preschool Family STEAM Program" at CdA Library, 702 E. Front Ave., CdA. Each participating family will take home FREE STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities & those attending all sessions will receive a bonus FREE toy!   • Feb 1 (Tues), 7:30 pm, "JazzNIC Festival Concert" at North Idaho College's Schuler Performing Arts Center, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA. Featuring NIC Jazz Ensemble, Cardinal Voices & two guest artists on piano & saxophone. FREE & open to the public!

  • Feb 5 (Sat), 1-3 pm, "The History Hidden in Your Home" at Fort Sherman Chapel, 332 N. Hubbard Ave., CdA. Learn how to unlock history, identify & care for artifacts. Light refreshments too! RSVP for this FREE event HERE. 

  • Feb 5-6 (Sat-Sun), "Priest Lake Sled Dog Race" at Priest Lake USFS Airstrip (3 miles south of Nordman). Hosted by Inland Empire Sled Dog Association & in its 51st year, be there (FREE for spectators) to see athletic sled dogs perform at their best. More info & registration link HERE.  

  • Feb 11 (Fri), 5-8 pm, "ArtWalk" in downtown CdA. Stroll the streets, drop into art studios, sample wine & hear local musicians perform.

  • Feb 19 (Sat), 1-8 pm, "Wallace Extreme Ski Jor" at Cedar Street Race Course, 600 Cedar Street. Action-packed competition where skiers are pulled through gates, jumps & rings by ATVs (instead of traditional horses). More info -
