Take chili in large crockpot/warming dish w/spoon by 10:45 to serve at 11 am when voting begins ($5 to taste all). Electricity provided. Feb 10 (Tues), "North Idaho Kindness Project" deadline to sign up as a volunteer to write kindness cards to nominated community members. Over 150 volunteers are asked to fill out at least 20 cards (card kits provided w/instructions) at home, which need to be returned by Feb 28 for distribution the following week. March 12 (Thurs), 7:30 pm, "America's Big Band Jazz Ambassadors Concert" at NIC's Schuler Performing Arts Center, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA. FREE & open to the public, The U.S. Army Field Band will entertain w/a variety of music such as big band swing, Latin, popular tunes, patriotic selections & contemporary jazz. The Ambassadors are the official touring big band of the United States Army, formed in 1969.
