  • Feb 7 (Tues), 7:30 pm, "JazzNIC Festival Concert" at Schuler Performing Arts Center, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA. Open to the public & FREE! 

  • CONCERT SCHEDULES >>

  • Feb 11 (Sat), 5-8 pm, "Valentine's Day Dance" at Harrison Grange, 110 S. Coeur d'Alene Ave., Harrison. Open to the public & all ages welcome! Two short dance lessons during event: swing at 5:15; waltz at 6:45 pm. Dress casual/semi formal in Valentine colors, if possible. Take an appetizer or dessert to share. Suggested donation is $10.   • SPRING CRAFT EVENTS >>

  • Feb 18 (Sat), 6-8 pm, "FUNdraiser Dance" at Post Falls Senior Center, 1215 W. Third Avenue, to benefit Post Falls & CdA Food Banks. Love 50s & 60s music? Show 'em your dance moves. Refreshments served. Suggested donation at door: $20/single; $25/couple; $35/family. More info - 208-512-3163. 

  • Feb 19 (Sun), 10 am, "Wallace Snowshoe Softball" at Wallace Visitor Center, 10 River Street. Family-friendly event w/FREE coffee, cocoa & hot dogs. Take your snowshoes; equipment provided. Donation of $1 per player appreciated.

  • Feb 6 (Mon), 10:30-11:30 am, "Yoga for You!" at CdA Library. Instructor Gerry Bryak will adapt poses for strengthening, stretching, balance & relaxation for adults. All levels are welcome; take mat.

  • Feb 7 (Tues), "Kellogg Community Blood Drive" at Elks Lodge, 202 McKinley Ave., Kellogg. Set your own app't time HERE. 

  • Feb 7 (Tues), "FREE Health Screening" at Panhandle Health, 137 N. 8th St., St. Maries. Receive a printed assessment of your blood sugar, lipids & blood pressure. Call 208-415-5218 to schedule app't time.

  • Feb 9-March 9 (Thurs), 3:30-4:20 pm, "Free Teen Quit Tobacco & E-Cigarette Course" at Panhandle Health District, 8500 N. Atlas Rd., Hayden. A 4-session course designed to also help middle & high school students deal with social skills, stress management, decision-making, goal setting, nutrition & physical activity. Must pre-register by calling 208-415-5122 or email lmccurdy@phd1.idaho.gov.

  • Feb 12 (Sun), 12:30-1:30 pm, "Yoga Class" at Hayden Library. Held every Sunday thru April 30; take yoga mat. All are welcome! Slower paced w/options to practice from a chair.

  • Feb 15 (Wed), 10 am-7 pm, "Dental Day" at Panhandle Health, 8500 N. Atlas Rd., Hayden. FREE or minimal cost for eligible children ages 0-17 & pregnant women. A dental hygienist provides an oral health assessment, teeth cleaning, fluoride varnish, home dental supplies & a dental home referral. For more info & to reserve an app't, call 208-415-5270.   • Feb 24 (Fri), 7:30-9:30 am, "Heart to Heart", a FREE screening event w/educational booths at Kootenai Health, 2003 Kootenai Health Way, CdA. A heart-healthy breakfast will be served too. Must RSVP to 208-625-5599.

  • Feb 27 (Mon), 9-10:30 am or 2-3:30 pm, "Opioid Education & Naloxone Training" for hospitality & restaurant staff at Panhandle Health District, 8500 N. Atlas Rd., Hayden. Covers trends, how to recognize an overdose & how to use narcan. FREE overdose rescue supplies for businesses. Co-hosted by CDAIDE. Must register to attend. Info HERE.

  • Feb 7 (Tues), 4:30-6:30 pm, "FREE Community Meal", served by Cup of Grace, 31848 N. 4th Ave., Spirit Lake. All are invited every Tuesday.

  • Feb 8 (Wed), noon, "LOU - Lunch on Us" at Bayview Community Center, 20298 E. Perimeter Road. Meet new friends or hug old ones at this weekly community lunch. It's FREE & provided by volunteer guest chefs. Last Wednesday of each month is potluck w/homemade soups. More info - 509-290-3340 (Mary Owen). 

  • Feb 9 (Thurs), 11 am-1:30 pm, "Rathdrum Food Kitchen" serves a FREE lunch meal at St. Stanislaus Catholic Hall (behind church), 15169 N. McCartney. Hosted by local churches, all are invited - seniors, children, families - every Thursday.

  • Feb 9 (Thurs), 4-5:30 pm, "Friendship Kitchen" serves a warm in-house meal as a ministry of St. George's Catholic Church, 2010 N. Lucas St., Post Falls. Open to the public every Thursday.

  • Feb 12 (Sun), 12:30-1:30 pm, "FREE Community Lunch" at Lutheran Church of the Master, 4800 N. Ramsey Rd., CdA. Enjoy a delicious lunch with others.

  • Feb 12 (Sun), 3 pm, "Super Bowl Community Potluck" at Outpost Brewing, 1710 N. 4th St., Ste. 115, CdA. Take your favorite snack or dessert to share with other football fans while watching Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles game. Snacks & drink specials for purchase. More info - 208-930-1066.

  • Feb 7 (Tues), 10:30 am-12:30 pm, "Are You Game?" at Hayden Library, an escape room-style event geared to ages 8+. Use math, logic, poetry, science & art to decipher clues in (8) rooms to solve puzzle.

  • Feb 8 (Wed), 1-2 pm, "Homeschooling Parents: Coffee & Chat" at CdA Library. Connect with other parents for an unstructured time to share ideas, programs/materials. Coffee & tea provided. Gathers every Wednesday thru Feb 22.

  • Feb 9 (Thurs), 10-10:30 am, "ESL Cafe" at CdA Library from The Literacy Project. Gather to sip a warm drink & practice English language speaking & listening skills. Meets weekly.

  • Feb 9 (Thurs), 4-7 pm, "Coffee & Coloring" at Hayden Library. A time for adults to relax & get artistic; supplies & refreshments provided every Thursday. Also every Friday, 11 am-1 pm, at Pinehurst Library; & each Saturday, 11 am-1 pm, at Harrison Library for all ages. Coloring, puzzles, games & hot beverages.

  • Feb 10 (Fri), 4 pm, "Mindful Doodling" at CdA Library. Relax with light music while creating art via "Zen" pattern doodling & coloring.

  • Feb 11 (Sat), 11 am, "Aging Gracefully" from an independent lifestyle into embracing senior care. In the community room of CdA Library, light snacks will be provided as speakers discuss "Options for Care" in session one. On Feb 25 (Sat), 11 am, session two will cover "Financial & Legal Strategies", presented by an elder law attorney. 

  • Feb 11 (Sat), "8th Annual Seed Swap" at CdA Library. Take extra seeds (home-saved or purchased) to share with others.   • Feb 18 (Sat), 11 am, "Saturday With the Symphony" at CdA Library is a children's program. Music-filled festivities & storytime (geared to ages 3+). Register by calling 208-769-2315. Takes place the 3rd Saturday of every month.
