Aug 2 (Sat), 8-11 am, "Cars & Coffee" meets every Saturday in the parking lot of Coeur d'Alene Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. 4th St., CdA. No cost to attend, no registration - just show up, park & hang out w/other car buffs. Muscle, Euro, JDM, lifted trucks or vintage classics - all are welcome & car clubs are welcome to roll in too! Arrive & leave quietly - no burnouts, revving or loud exits.

Aug 2-3 (Sat-Sun), "Firemens' Fun Festival" in Mullan. Parade begins at 11 am from the football field to the fire station; then games take place on Earle St., downtown Mullan. Street dance Saturday, 7 pm, at Mullan City Park featuring Loose Gazoonz.
- Aug 6 (Wed), noon-3 pm, "Idaho Dept. of Labor Job Fair" at CdA Library, 702 E. Front Avenue. Employers will be on-site hiring full-time, part-time, seasonal, entry-level & skilled trade positions for all ages 18+. Take resume copies & get ready to be hired. Also: Oct 1 & Nov 5.

Panhandle Health District offers FREE blood-lead testing to individuals in the Bunker Hill Superfund Site (working, living in or recreating). Done through a simple finger poke w/app't time being 15-20 minutes. A $50 incentive will be provided to the parent/legal guardian of each child between ages 6 months-6 years who is tested who lives within site. Results available before leaving.
