June 9 (Fri), 1-2 pm, "Libratory: Trees Around the Globe" at Harrison Library. Learn how to measure trees, record data for scientists around the globe, & make a tree painting. For ages 5-12.

June 9 (Fri), 1-3 pm, "Fishing Fun for Kids" at Farragut State Park. All ages can enjoy fishing w/librarians, park rangers, IDFG, Trout Unlimited & see the special fishing trailer. Pick up FREE day pass from Athol Library. Note: Adults will need valid fishing license to fish.

June 10 (Sat), 1 pm, "Learning the Ropes" at Spirit Lake Library. Practice tying knots, hitches & lashings w/2 colors of rope - an excellent hands-on experience. Make fishing knots, rapid ridgeline for tarp tents & more.

June 12 (Mon), 11 am-noon, "Totally Untidy Toddlers - Messy Art" at Pinehurst Library. For ages 2-4, a painting activity with feet, bubble rap, pipettes & other objects. Wear old clothes & plan to use feet for art on the library lawn.

June 14 (Wed), 9:15 am, "Historical Feet Club" meets at CdA Library, then walks to Tubbs HIll to learn about tree species, specific stands of trees in the forest, their age/health along with insects & diseases that pose a threat - about 3 miles w/hills. All are welcome! Additional tour: June 21 (Tubbs Hill Bird Walk).
