  • July 1 (Fri), 7 pm, "New York Polyphony" concert at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 919 E. Indiana Ave., CdA. Hear the vibrant sounds of one of the foremost vocal chamber ensembles in a FREE concert! Glorious acoustics will allow music to fill the historic sanctuary for the repertoire which ranges from Gregorian Chant & Polyphony to cutting-edge composition. General seating; good-will offering.

  • July 2 (Sat), 7:45 pm, "FREE Outdoor Movie-Addams Family 2" at CdA City Park Rotary Band Shell, sponsored by CdA Police Dept. Family-friendly event. Take chairs/blankets. More movie schedules HERE.


  • July 5 (Tues), 6-8 pm, "Cinderella Nights Summer Car Show" at Curley's Hauser Junction, 26433 W. Hwy 53, Hauser. FREE admission & entry for classics, customs, cars, trucks & motorcycles. Weekly awards, food drinks & fun for all family members! Will continue every Tuesday evening thru August.

  • July 8 (Fri), 5-8 pm, "ArtWalk" in downtown CdA. Stroll the streets, drop into art studios, sample wine & hear local musicians perform. More info & map HERE.

  • July 10 (Sun), 11 am-4 pm, "24th Annual Garden Tour" presented by Coeur d'Alene Garden Club. Tour (6) outstanding gardens in CdA & Dalton Gardens while helping non-profit organizations. Tickets cost $15 in advance, or $20 at garden sites. Details HERE. 

  • July 13 (Wed), 7 pm, "Full Moon Bike Ride" begins at Outpost Brewing, 1710 N. 4th St., Ste. 115, CdA. This popular group ride is open to all at a cruiser speed. More info HERE.

  • July 16 (Sat), 1-9 pm, "Grapplefest 2022" at St. Maries City Park & Amphitheater, Main St. &10th/11th. In its 4th year, tap your toes to live music, explore local/regional breweries. 

  • July 16 (Sat), Sanders Beach-Lake CdA; Aug 6 (Sat), Long Bridge-Sandpoint; & Aug 13 (Sat), CdA Crossing; "Kroc Masters Open Water Swims". Of course, spectators are welcome to offer encouragement. Info for participants HERE.

  • July 22 (Fri), 10:30 am-2:30 pm, "North Idaho Military Family & Retiree Appreciation Day" at Shadduck Lane Park, 1875 E. Shadduck Lane, CdA. Games, food, resource vendors, water balloons, corn hole, horseshoes, volleyball, spike ball, bounce house, face painting & more! Info - 208-608-3816.

  • July 22-23 (Fri-Sat), 10 am-5 pm, & July 24 (Sun), 10 am-4 pm, "Vintage Market Days" at Kootenai Co. Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Gov't Way, CdA. An upscale vintage experience w/designers, artisans, craftsmen & 100+ dealers - a unique one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Kid & dog friendly (ages 12 & under kids' admission is FREE); otherwise, cost is $5-15. More info HERE.

  • July 23-24 (Sat-Sun), 10 am-5 pm, "Coeur d'Alene Air Expo" at CdA Airport/Pappy Boyington Field, 11101 N. Airport Dr., Hayden. Special guest will be a B-17 from Commemorative Air Force. Event is FREE & open to the public. 

  • July 25 (Mon), 11 am-5 pm, "National Carousel Day" means FREE rides at CdA Carousel, 439 W. Fort Grounds Dr., CdA. As an added bonus, our own Spillman Junior turns 100 years old, having been hand-carved in New York in 1942.

  • July 29-30 (Fri-Sat), "HARRISON OLD TIME PICNIC" >>

  • July 29 (Fri), 10 am-2 pm, "ADA Picnic" in McEuen Park, 420 E. Front Ave., CdA. Celebrating signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act into law 32 years ago. Music, fun & FREE lunch provided by Pita Pit. Info on service dogs, therapy dogs & emotional support animals too. More info - 208-457-3891.

  • July 30 (Sat), 1-4 pm, "2nd Annual LCBC Bike Bonanza" at Lake City Bicycle Collective, 424 E. Wallace Ave., CdA. FREE community event - bike repair clinics, raffle, shop tours, obstacle course, swap, games & more. Take your bike & have fun!

  • July 2 (Sat), 11:30 am-1:30 pm, "FREE Lunches" for children at Spirit Lake's Big Park (aka) Spirit Lake City Park, 32416 5th Avenue. Lunches offered by Cup of Grace every Saturday until school begins in the Fall.

  • July 5 (Tues), 4:30-6:30 pm, "FREE Community Meal", served by Cup of Grace at Spirit Lake Community/Senior Center, 32564 4th Avenue. All are invited!

  • July 21 (Thurs), 11 am-1 pm, "Mobile Market" at Post Falls Library. Provided by 2nd Harvest for those in need of food assistance, drive thru for nonperishable & fresh items. No app't or documentation required.

  • July 29 (Fri), 11 am-1 pm, "Mobile Market" at St. Maries HS, 134 S. 10th Street. Pre-packed food boxes for those in need will be available via drive-thru.

  • July 11 (Mon), 3:30 pm, "Backpacking 101" at Hayden Library, presented by NIC Outdoor Pursuits experts. Learn what to do & not do, what to take (10 essentials) & receive equipment suggestions.

  • July 12 (Tues), 11 am-1 pm, "Wooden Boat Races" at Rathdrum City Park, 15456 N. Latah Street. Design, build & race your boat down the stream. 

  • July 12 (Tues), 4 pm, "Canning Class" at Hayden Library, presented by Tonia Zink, Master Food Safety Advisor. 

  • July 16 (Sat), 1 pm, "Women's Self Defense" at Hayden Library. Class will cover self-defense, situational awareness & prevention.  

  • July 21 (Thurs), 4 pm, "DIY Marble Art" at Hayden LIbrary. Have fun marbling pencils, rocks & paper.

  • July 21 (Thurs), 11 am-noon, "Cecil the Magician" in Rathdrum City Park, 15456 N. Latah Street. The magic & illusionist talents will leave you wondering, "How did he do that?" Geared for ages 5-10; all are welcome. 

  • July 26 (Tues), 11:30 am-12:30 pm, "Stretch  Your Grocery Dollars" at Hayden Library. Presented by Humana, lunch is provided. Call 208-772-5612 to RSVP by July 25 at noon.

  • July 1 (Fri), 9:30 am, "Effective Communication Strategies" presented by Alzheimer's Association at CdA Library. An educational program to help people recognize common signs of the disease in relation to typical age-related changes, importance of early detection, how to approach someone about memory concerns & possible tests/assessments for diagnosis. Registration is required; call 208-769-2315.

  • July 6 (Tues), 1-4 pm, "Coffee & Donuts" at Disability Action Center NW Office, 3726 E. Mullan Ave., Post Falls. Stop in to find out what services are provided.

  • July 11 (Mon), noon-1 pm, "10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's" at Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane Street. Recognize common signs; learn next steps to take. Presented by Alzheimer's Association, registration is required by calling 208-773-1506.
