Nutritional seminars, cooking demonstrations & health fairs are held at various times throughout the year at Natural Grocers. Nutrition events are FREE with no reservations required; however, seating is limited.
Offered as an outreach program for adults in the community & FREE, these Saturday morning classes will continue through Dec 21 (w/no obligation to join SHLC).
"Basics of Christianity" classes will provide a safe, non-threatening setting to learn about Jesus Christ & teachings of the Christian church. (Ask questions!)
Subjects will be: evil & world problems, creation vs. evolution, Ten Commandments, Jesus Christ, God's Word - the Bible, justification, Holy Baptism, The Lord's Supper, prayer, worship, life after death & more.
Once a month on the 3rd Tuesday, various topics related to aging are presented by Professionals Serving Seniors, a consortium of experts whose professional lives are spent guiding seniors & their families through various issues in Kootenai County.
This FREE class, "Safe Sleep 101", teaches parents/grandparents/caregivers safe sleeping techniques for infants. Two classes are scheduled in Coeur d'Alene every 3rd Thursday, & at other locations at various times/dates.

The 30-minute sessions provide a safe environment where pups can learn social skills, & their people "parents" learn too - about bonding & social development from a Petco dog trainer.
