Design a Home for Pets

"NIBCA PET PARADE OF HOMES"

For a summer project, children in kindergarten through 8th grade (& their parents) are invited to design & build a home for their favorite pets. Kick-off event will be April 26 (Fri), 4-5:30 pm. Program runs until Sept 1 at which time finished "homes" will be judged w/prizes awarded at an awards night Sept 26.  â€‹

Children's Story Hour

To help fill a gap left by the temporary closure of Post Falls Library (water damage from freezing pipes), "Miss Win" (aka mother, grandmother & educator for 40 years), will offer entertaining storytime sessions at these times:

On .10 acres (4,200 sf), this concrete skate park is available for skateboard enthusiasts, complete with half-pipe, grinding boxes & rails.

 

It has outdoor lighting & is open 7 am-10 pm in the summer months.

Not quite FREE, but well worth $2.50 to ride the original Playland Pier Carousel (aka Coeur d'Alene Carousel). Children under 42" tall ride with an adult (one token for both). Weight limits apply.

​

Hand-carved by the Herschell-Spillman Engineering Co. in New York (1922), the carousel has 20 ponies & 2 chariots. Click HERE for carousel history.
