  • Shoshone County Veterans' Outreach, 10 am-2 pm, at Osburn VFW Post 1675, 318 E. Mullan Avenue on these dates: Feb 5, March 5, April 2, May 7 & June 4. Call Dan Merrill, Veteran Service Officer, at 208-752-3331 to schedule app't, or email dmerrill@co.shoshone.id.us. 

  • Benewah County Veterans' Outreach, 9 am-2 pm, at the new Veterans' Outreach Center, 534 Main Ave., St. Maries on these dates: Feb 3 & 17, March 9 & 31, April 14 & 28; May 12 & 26, June 9 & 21. Call 208-582-4330 for app't or stop in. If events are canceled, call 208-415-3480 for assistance, or to set up app't in Post Falls.

  • Plummer Veterans' Outreach, 10 am-2 pm, at Plummer City Hall, 880 C St, Plummer, on these dates: Feb 12, March 12, May 14. For further assistance call ID Division of Veterans Services at 208-415-3480 to schedule an app't in Post Falls.​​​

  • Every 1st Wednesday, 5-7 pm, "Steak Dinners for Veterans" at Wallace Elks Lodge #331, 419 Cedar St., Wallace. Arrive early & enjoy! Meal cost for non-veteran Elks & guests is $16.

  • Every 3rd Wednesday, 8-9:30 am, "Veterans Appreciation Breakfast" at Legends Park Assisted Living, 1820 N. Legends Pkwy, CdA. Each month veterans & their families are invited to enjoy a full breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, coffee & juices - FREE of charge! Please RSVP to 208-699-6015. 

  • Every Wednesday8-10 am, "Coffee & Donuts" at Post Falls American Legion, 138 E. Poleline Avenue. Gather for FREE food & camaraderie with other veterans!

  • Every Friday, 5-7 pm, "Burger Night" at Wallace Elks Lodge #331, 419 Cedar St., Wallace. Veterans eat FREE!

  • ​​Feb 6 (Fri), 7:45-8:45 am, "Joining Forces Panhandle" at St. Vincent de Paul Conference Room, 201 E. Harrison Ave., CdA. Learn from & meet resource persons who serve Idaho veterans.   • Feb 18 (Wed), 1-2:30 pm, "Advanced Care Planning Workshop" for veterans at Coeur d'Alene VA Clinic, 915 W. Emma Ave., Room CDA-159, CdA. In case of serious injury or illness, create advance directive documents such as "Durable Power of Attorney" & a Living Will. Gain understanding of healthcare decisions & share concerns w/other veterans. Provided by I CARE/U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs. Register by calling 509-434-7983.   • March 12 (Thurs), 7:30 pm, "America's Big Band Jazz Ambassadors Concert" at NIC's Schuler Performing Arts Center, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA. FREE & open to the public, The U.S. Army Field Band will entertain w/a variety of music such as big band swing, Latin, popular tunes, patriotic selections & contemporary jazz. The Ambassadors are the official touring big band of the United States Army, formed in 1969. 

  • Apr 10 (Fri), 10-11 am, "VA Health Care Orientation Class" at Coeur d'Alene VA Clinic, 915 W. Emma Ave., Room 159, CdA. Gain understanding of benefits for primary, specialty & mental health care; social work, pharmacy & medication refills, emergency & urgent care, co-payments, travel benefits, patient advocate program & more.   • All-volunteer U.S. Air Force Auxiliary

  • Senior members (adults) & cadets (ages 12-21) volunteer & provide support for Emergency Services, Cadet Programs & Aerospace Education. 

  • CAP Cadet Program is a year-round program focused on leadership, aerospace education, physical fitness & moral/ethical decision-making. 

  • Adults meet 1st & 3rd Thursdays, 6:30 pm; cadets meet every Tuesday, 6;30 pm, at Pappy Boyington Field (CdA Airport), Hayden.
