Dec 6 (Fri), 4-8 pm, "Winterfest Celebration & Plaza Market" at Post Falls City Hall Plaza, 4-8 N. Spokane Street. Activities include lighting the community tree, music/caroling, marshmallow treats, crafts, a Christmas tree lot (fresh-cut trees for sale), & the arrival of Santa at 6:15 pm. Presented by PF Park & Rec, admission is FREE!​​​​​​​​​

Dec 6 (Fri), 4-8 pm, & Dec 7 (Sat), 9 am-5 pm, "4th Annual Outdoor European Christmas Market" at CdA Elks Lodge #1254-RV Campground, 1170 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden. Based on the traditional open-air Christkindlmarkts held in Germany, Austria & other countries during Advent season. Warming fires, twinkly lights, homemade craft/gift vendors, food trucks, Vendor Village, hot-spiced mulled wine, music & Father Christmas. Dec 7 (Sat), 8 am-3 pm, "Christmas Bazaar" at 3rd Avenue Marketplace Senior Programs, 1215 E. 3rd Ave., Post Falls. Affordable gift baskets, handmade crafts/foods. Take a pet food item or cat litter to receive a FREE sweet treat. All proceeds go to senior programs.

Dec 7 (Sat), noon-4:30 pm, "Merry Makers Market" at Gizmo-CDA, 283 Hubbard Ave., Ste. 102, CdA in NIC's Hedlund Bldg. Makers will be selling homemade artisan gifts such as bowls & other hand-crafted magic. Also Dec 10-12, 1-9 pm & Dec 13-14, 10 am-5 pm.

Feb 15-16 (Sat-Sun), 10 am-4 pm, "Bridal Expo" at Kootenai Co. Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Gov't Way, CdA. Shop over 1,300 wedding gowns - some used, some new & some are sample dresses ranging from $50-600. Fitting rooms available. Vendors on-site for wedding planning & coordination. Presented by White Lace Events & Dress Express. FREE admission for brides; others $5.
