  • Nov 12 (Tues), 6:30-9:30 pm, "Basic Bike Maintenance Clinic" at CdA Bike Co., 314 N. 3rd St., CdA. Learn about flat repair, suspension setup & much more.

  • Nov 12 (Tues), 7-9 pm, "Birding Florida: Miami to the Dry Tortugas" at Lutheran Church of the Master meeting room, 4800 N. Ramsey Rd., CdA. Hosted by CdA idaho Audubon Chapter, Ron Force provides presention. Public is invited; FREE admission.

  • Nov 15 (Fri), 6:30 pm, "In Honor of Veterans Day" at Mica Flats Grange, 7465 W. Kidd Island Rd., CdA. Experience a WWII-type meal; all are welcome.

  • Nov 16 (Sat), 9 am-noon, "Dirty Bird Trail Run" around Tubbs Hill. In its 8th year, this run is a fundraiser for Children's Village. Food items can be dropped off at east end of McEuen Park (look for van in City Hall parking lot); then meet at McEuen Park Band Shell. From there, run goes clockwise around Tubbs Hill.

  • Nov 16 (Sat), 5-11 pm, "Friendsgiving Potluck" at One Shot Charlie's, 100 W. Harrison St., Harrison. An annual event - all are welcome! Take a dish (appetizer, side dish or dessert) if you can for the 6 pm meal. Live band at 8 pm. Kids are welcome until 9 pm.

  • Nov 19 (Tues), 1-3 pm, "Bunco" will be played at Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane St. Join the group that's rowdy & wild when they gather for this fast-paced dice game. Call 208-773-1506 to register. Players new to game are welcome.

  • Nov 22 (Fri), 5:30-8 pm, "Free Bowling Night" for NIC students (take student ID) at River City Lanes, 965 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls. An evening of bowling, pizza & soda.

  • Nov 29 (Fri), 5 pm on, "Lighting Ceremony & Parade" in downtown CdA. Parade from 5-6 pm, followed by gathering on the lawn of The Coeur d'Alene Resort for singing of Christmas carols, fireworks & turning on of 1.5 million lights.

  • Nov 12 & 19 (Tues), 5-7:30 pm, "Jam Session" at Post Falls Library by Inland NW Bluegrass Music Association. Listen to, or participate in a bluegrass, folk & country music "circle jam". Take your own instruments & singing voice. Light refreshments provided.

  • Nov 13-14 (Wed & Thurs), 7-8:15 pm, "Gathering of the Bands", at NIC's Schuler Performing Arts Center, Bozwell Halll, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA. This year's FREE concert will feature a percussion ensemble, middle school students' band, & NIC Wind Symphony.

  • Nov 14 (Thurs), 5 pm, "Classical Guitar Concert" at Athol Library. Larry Almeida introduces styles from the 1600s to popular music of the 19th & 20th centuries. Includes history & personal experiences. More concerts at these libraries: Nov 16 (Sat), 2 pm, Spirit Lake; & Nov 21 (Thurs), 2 pm, Rathdrum.

  • Nov 19 (Tues), 7 pm, "Fall Concert" by Panhandle Symphony Orchestra at Lake City HS Auditorium, 6101 N. Ramsey Rd., CdA. FREE & open to the public!

  • Nov 21 (Thurs), 7:30-9:30 pm, "New Directions: NIC Jazz Ensemble & Cardinal Voices" at NIC's Boswell Hall, 880 W. Garden Ave., CdA.

  • Nov 12 (Tues), 6 pm, Hayden (all), "Fur-Ever Home". Create dog bandanas & cat feather toys at this family-friendly event. Prizes, snacks & photo ops. Dogs & kittens from Kootenai Humane Society will be present. Learn responsible pet ownership & how homeless animals can be helped.

  • Nov 13 (Wed), 2 pm, Hayden (adults), "Holiday Card-Making". Be the giver of handmade Christmas cards this year. Call 208-772-5612 to sign up. 

  • Nov 13 (Wed), 6:30 pm, Post Falls (adults), "River City Garden Club". Enjoy wreath demonstrations by the Vanderhoff's.

  • Nov 15 (Fri), 6-8 pm, Spirit Lake (teens), "Teen Night Marvel Party". Have fun with Marvel heroes & villains w/themed games, activities & food. For ages 11-18.

  • Nov 18 (Mon), 4-5 pm, CdA (kids), "Indigenus Storytime". For ages 5-12, celebrate Native American Heritage Month with stories & crafts led by Sarai Mays (Chickasaw).

  • Nov 18 (Mon), 6-7:30 pm &/or Nov 19 (Tues), noon-1:30 pm, Pinehurst (adults), "Fix Small Appliances". Take any small appliance/gadget & receive help from a retired electrician. Call 208-682-3483 to reserve a spot.

  • Nov 21 (Thurs), 6-8 pm, Post Falls (adults), "Getting Your Website Up & Running". Presented by N ID Small Business Development Center. No registration needed.

  • Nov 22 (Fri), 6-8:15 pm, CdA (teens), "Teen Movie: Spider-Man Far From Home (PG-13). Shown in Community Room.
