ABOUT >

Molstead Library, located on the campus of North Idaho College, serves students & community members ages 18 & older who live in Kootenai, Benewah, Shoshone, Bonner & Boundary counties. ​

COMMUNITY BORROWER CARD >

All residents 18 years or older of the five northern counties in Idaho are eligible for a NIC community borrower card which must be renewed annually. To obtain card, take your state-issued ID & proof of residence to the front desk for assistance.

PARKING >​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Permit parking for students & staff is on the library's north & east sides. Guest parking is located on the west side of Hubbard Avenue or along Rosenberry Drive via permit.

• Oct 14 (Wed), 7:15 pm, "From Cleanup to Conservation: an Evening with CdA Tribe's Natural Resources Department" for ages 16+. Join CdA Audubon Society as it welcomes Rebecca Stevens who will discuss the tribe's restoration & natural resource efforts. All are invited.

• Oct 29 (Thurs), 10 am, "Fraud Awareness" presented by Global Credit Union. 

• Oct 29 (Thurs), 5 pm, "Smart Money" for ages 16+. Global CU presents a program on budget basics, creating good savings habits, credit reports, cost of credit, & investing for retirement.

"KINDERGARTEN BOOT CAMP"​​​

Parents & caregivers will learn hands-on activities with emphasis on children's developmental stages so they can be ready for kindergarten. Geared to ages 4-5, youngsters will learn about sorting color/shapes, numbers, & how to hold a pencil.

Items are available - FREE of charge - & no questions asked, for children, teens & adults. Toiletry items will vary by location at CLN libraries, & may include:

• Socks, hats, mittens, hand warmers

• Diapers/creme, baby wipes 

• Hand sanitizer, deodorant & feminine pads
