ABOUT >

Molstead Library, located on the campus of North Idaho College, serves students & community members ages 18 & older who live in Kootenai, Benewah, Shoshone, Bonner & Boundary counties. ​

COMMUNITY BORROWER CARD >

All residents 18 years or older of the five northern counties in Idaho are eligible for a NIC community borrower card which must be renewed annually. To obtain card, take your state-issued ID & proof of residence to the front desk for assistance.

Permit parking for students & staff is on the library's north & east sides. Guest parking is located on the west side of Hubbard Avenue or along Rosenberry Drive via permit.

  • Wed, 11 am, "Sit-n-Stitch" for ages 12+.

  • Thurs, 5:30-7 pm, "Dream Interpretation Basics" for ages 14+.

  • Thurs (1st), 4-6 pm, "Lawyer in the Library" for adults. Must register 24 hours in advance for FREE help from a lawyer.

Items are available - FREE of charge - & no questions asked, for children, teens & adults. Toiletry items will vary by location at CLN libraries, & may include:

  • Comb, brush

  • Socks, hats, mittens, hand warmers

  • Diapers/creme, baby wipes 

  • Hand sanitizer, deodorant & feminine pads
