ABOUT >

Molstead Library, located on the campus of North Idaho College, serves students & community members ages 18 & older who live in Kootenai, Benewah, Shoshone, Bonner & Boundary counties. ​

COMMUNITY BORROWER CARD >

All residents 18 years or older of the five northern counties in Idaho are eligible for a NIC community borrower card which must be renewed annually. To obtain card, take your state-issued ID & proof of residence to the front desk for assistance.

COMMUNITY USERS POLICY >

PARKING >​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Permit parking for students & staff is on the library's north & east sides. Guest parking is located on the west side of Hubbard Avenue or along Rosenberry Drive via permit.

• Tues, 9:30 am, "Tai Chi & Qi Gong" for ages 18+

• Wed, 9:30 am, "Stronger in Body & Mind". Low-impact fitness & strength-training classes for ages 16+

• Wed, 11 am, "Sit-n-Stitch" for ages 12+.

• Thurs, noon-3 pm, "Community Sew-In" for all ages. 

• Thurs, 5:30-7 pm, "Dream Interpretation Basics" for ages 14+.

• Thurs (1st), 4-6 pm, "Lawyer in the Library" for adults. Must register 24 hours in advance for FREE help from a lawyer. 

• Fri, noon-1 pm, "Tai Chi Walking: Gentle Movement for Winter Wellness" (Jan 30-March 20) for all ages & fitness levels.

• Sat (2nd), 3-4:30 pm, "Ukulele Club" for all ages.

Items are available - FREE of charge - & no questions asked, for children, teens & adults. Toiletry items will vary by location at CLN libraries, & may include:

• Toothpaste, toothbrush floss

• Body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner

• Comb, brush

• Socks, hats, mittens, hand warmers

• Diapers/creme, baby wipes 

• Hand sanitizer, deodorant & feminine pads
