COEUR D'ALENE CYCLING CLUB

Open to the public, these group rides occur 3 times each week during summer months. All depart from CdA Library, 702 E. Front Avenue.

"Strata Chasers" (Tuesdays, 5:30 pm) emphasizes quick legs with a fast loop & sprint segment. "Hill Climbers" (Thursdays, 5:30 pm) will experience miles of hill-climbing. "Summer Saturdaze" (Saturdays, noon) are scenic, mixed-tempo "chill" rides leading to North Idaho's magnificent locations. 

Participate in one or all. (There is no membership fee for Summer, 2020.) Group pace is approx. 18 mph. Questions? Contact Dan Eyman at dan@cdacycling.club.

"No Drop" Group Road Rides

COEUR D'ALENE CANOE & KAYAK CLUB

Grab paddles & oars for skimming across area lake waters on Thursday evenings with CdA Canoe & Kayak Club. Non-members are invited to join the group, touring different waterways each week.

Be sure to take safety equipment (whistle & PFD) & have invasive species sticker on vessel.

Community Bike Rides

Monday nights are for women only on mountain bike rides. Leave shop at 6 pm. All levels welcome.

Tuesday night rides travel a challenging mountain bike course. Leaves shop at 6 pm, or Upper Nettleton parking lot at 6:30 pm. Will be a spirited/competitive pace.

Thursday's group rides at a casual pace, leaving from shop at 6 pm, or Upper Nettleton parking lot at 6:30 pm. Want more action? Go Saturday when riders experience a spirited/competitive-paced road ride on an established course.

It is advised that riders call the shop the day of the FREE event to confirm - 208-667-5503.

TREK BICYCLE STORE

"Hilly Nilly Gravel Series" takes place on hilly courses - paved & gravel roads. Bicycles will travel 20-40+ miles. Participate FREE of charge on Sunday mornings; however, there's no support.

 

Riders meet at Michael D's Eatery, 203 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Dr., CdA. This event is organized by Trek Bicycle Store & Vertical Earth.

Ride by the Light of the Full Moon

CdA FULL MOON RIDE

Slate Creek, CdA

This monthly community bike ride - FREE of charge to go along - covers 2-4 miles usually, making stops at businesses along the way & a stop at Independence Point for a group photo.

Roller Rink Family Fun

Biking, Brews & Burgers

This weekly knobby-tire bike ride is a 6-mile loop on Canfield Mountain.

 

Open to all riders & skill levels, the group meets at Nettleton Gulch parking lot every Wednesday to begin the trek up the mountain. Go along - it's FREE! 

Following the ride, cold "recovery drinks" & sandwiches are served at the store for those interested. (There is a cost for refreshments.)
