Features year-round public access to 50, 100 & 200-yard ranges, plus shotgun trap & archery shooting. Details HERE.
Cost is $5 per shooter per day, regardless of age (cash only); plus park entrance fee. On site are vault toilets & covered shooting areas. Eye/ear protection, reloading brass, shooting clays & bottled water may be purchased. Can be reserved for private events.

SHOSHONE COUNTY PUBLIC SHOOTING RANGE

Operated by volunteers & through donations, the range is open to the public & FREE of charge. There are three separate areas - archery, rifles & handgun - as well as 8 covered shooting benches & a 500-yard gong.
Visitors are asked to clean up, respect others & follow safety rules.

Hilly Nilly Gravel Rides

Leaves from & finishes at Michael D's Eatery, 203 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Dr., CdA.
This series of spirited Sunday rides occur monthly. Open to the public, riders must be self -supported. There is no fee to participate.
Each fun ride gets longer, climbs higher, & helps prepare riders for summer activities.

Ride by the Light of the Full Moon

Gather from 7-9 pm at Outpost Brewing, 1710 N. 4th St., Ste. 115, CdA. Sun sets at 8:46 pm.
This monthly community bike ride - FREE of charge to go along - covers 2-4 miles usually (cruiser speed). Meeting location & departure times vary from month to month.
Always held on a full moon evening, destinations vary. Kids are invited, so make it a family event! Helmets recommended. Lights are necesssary since ride will be when it's dark. Find out more with email to danica@local-property.com.

From May-end of October, the fairgrounds provides "Open Ride Nights" for a $5 fee per horse at the North Arena every Tuesday & Thursday.

FREE skiing lessons for ages 6-17 & FREE snowboarding lessons for ages 7-17 are available on Saturdays.
Register online (link is above). Participants must attend a FREE ski school lesson within the first 3 weeks of the program, which lasts for nine weeks. Instruction separates beginners (10-11 am) from intermediate & advanced (11:30 am-1 pm).
For 80 seasons, Lookout Pass Free Ski School has introduced 78,000+ kids to the winter world of skiing/riding.
